This is a glimpse into what photography means to me
I have had a background in photography for years now, but never really put it to use, until I had my daughter. Thats when I picked the camera up again and have loved every second of it!
I started my business in March of 24', three months before giving birth to my daughter. My employer had recently fired me after I told them I was pregnant back in October of 23', because pregnancy & Construction don't mix.
Why I Started JEP
Unable to find another job to help support my family, 7 months pregnant, I started up Jordan Elaine Photography. In the hopes of being able to watch my little girl grow up & still being able to help give her a good life, full of possibilities. Something I wasn't as fortunate to have growing up.
I started photographing clients in late July, & I absolutely love it. I love capturing smiles, & laughter. Meeting new people, & creating new experiences!

For My Family
When you choose JEP to capture your memories, You're not only helping me, but you're helping me create a beautiful life for my little girl. So when I say It means a lot, when you share my work, & you love it, It truly means more than you'll ever know.
Everything I do is for my family, My husband, my daughter, even my two bonus blessings. There is nothing I wouldn't do for the four of them.
The Value of photos
My family never did family photos when I was a kid. There are very few photos from my childhood. Which is probably what sparked my obsession with capturing them, & with taking them of my family. I want my daughter to have memories to hold onto when I am gone, & to pass down through her family. To know how much she was loved with each photo showcasing her milestones in life.
In a sense, I heal a piece of my inner child with every session.
I just need to work on putting myself more In front of the camera too, it's a work in progress.
Life is beautiful, moments don't last forever, capture them. I truly believe photos hold magic!
